As Executive Vice President of Program Support for Seventh Sense Consulting (SSC), Mr. Smith serves as a member of the Executive Leadership Team.  He provides leadership and direction of the program support functions which includes Quality, Compliance, and Risk Management (Quality); Industrial and Information Security (Security); Communications, Cyber, and Information Technology (CCIT); and Morale, Recreation, and Welfare (MWR). Mr. Smith interfaces with other senior executives, staff, employees, and government agency officials in the representation and development of various programs, policies, services, and initiatives; manages and coordinates corporate Strategic Planning Meetings and Reviews, and performs other duties as requested.

 

Prior to joining Seventh Sense Consulting, Mr. Smith served as a Program Manager at Strategic Operational Solutions, Inc. where he last provided support to the Department of Defense (DoD) Office of Manufacturing and Industrial Base Policy (MIBP), Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP), Innovation Cell Program Development and Management. His teams performed market research, initiated contact with non-traditional suppliers, entrepreneurs, and inventors (NT) and supported the development and acquisition of their innovative technologies using commercial practices. Mr. Smith supported the government in leveraging NT’s ideas and technologies, modifying technologies (if necessary), mentoring NTs on how to introduce their technologies into DoD programs, and delivering the technology to DoD accordingly.

 

Mr. Smith holds a B.S. in Business Management from Hampton University, an M.P.M. in Project Management, and an M.B.A. with concentration in Program Management, both from DeVry University, Keller Graduate School of Management.
